The right and the wrong “We”
The collectivists have been using the word “we” as a curse upon the human soul for centuries. With time they have turned it into a synonym of “society” making it a symbol of emptiness. But just like many other words, that one belongs to the individualists.
When two great forces fall in love, they say “we”. When the tide and the rock clash making the earth shiver, they proclaim their union. When the tornado accepts the hardness of the sand among its particles, they stand equal in their impulse, proud of who they are. When the ocean drowns the first morning light in its depth, the fusion of their breaths keeps shining over the horizon.
Society’s moral speaks of a “we” that’s meaningless. People are constantly trying to fit into a group to escape from their own Self. Slowly, they completely lose who they really are and they turn into a part of a group of absent individuals. That’s how they find themselves imprisoned into an equation where a few zeroes multiply among themselves, desperately trying to achieve a different result.
For the living, “we” is always one plus one and the answer is always three. The real “we” is the one where both participants stay true to who they are while building a common Universe. Individuals ready to fight side by side for those parts of the world which exist only for them.
For the weak, “we” means safety, peace, whining, and order. In it, they see salvation from the burden of their choices and an escape from the need of every beating heart to follow only its own rhythm. We, the spineless ones, are incapable of quality, so we go for quantity. That is the motto of all societies.
For the strong, “we” means love, pride, freedom, and greatness. In it, they see perfection worthy of the might they hide in their chests. We can do anything because our union is a result of a free choice and every single one of us is absolute.
When weakness crawls towards another weakness, the result is always degradation. When the strength connects with strength, it becomes invincible. When fear says “we”, the rainbow loses its colors. When love says “we”, white crystal explodes in dead craters of the volcanoes. When the pathetic man says I, he says “we”. When the real man says “we”, he says I.
We are the Absolute. And this word belongs to us.
