Why am I afraid of making the wrong choice?

Everyone is afraid of making mistakes, and that is completely normal. There are two fundamental ways of thinking about your choices.

Either you believe that every decision is wrong and constantly wonder what could have been better, or you believe that every decision is the right one. From a universal perspective, only the second approach is true.

Every decision has consequences. Every crossroads we face means giving up the opportunity to walk the other paths. With every choice, we gain something and lose something else. But no matter how wrong your decision may seem, it will always be better than refusing to choose at all.

It is human to strive to be right, but it is equally human to make mistakes.

The real question is how you perceive those mistakes—as failures or as lessons.

If every mistake is a failure, your energy will be consumed by shame and self-pity.

If every mistake is a lesson, your energy will be invested in becoming a better version of yourself.
