Underworld: Awakening offers some good ideas, but fails to develop them sufficiently.

...Underworld: Rise of the Lycans makes the exceptionally smart decision to focus another film on its most complex character – Lucian. He is definitely the most interesting character in the first film, and it’s wonderful that the third installment gives us the chance to get to know him better.
...Underworld: Evolution stays true to the spirit of the series. It strikes the perfect balance of darkness, mystery, action, and sex appeal.
...Mortal Kombat 2 makes the sensible choice not to overcomplicate things with too much meaning. The good guys, the bad guys, the battle between them. Everything is laid out quickly and simply so we can focus on what we came for – the action. As a film in its own right, Mortal Kombat 2 isn’t particularly noteworthy, but for fans of the game, it’s definitely an enjoyable experience.
...Hen is definitely an unconventional experience. In typical European fashion, the film moves at a slow pace, and since the main character is a hen, there is almost no dialogue. Despite this, however, Hen manages to hold the viewer’s interest. The skillful camerawork shows us what life looks like through the eyes of a hen searching for her place in a world full of beauty and danger.
